Bumble and Bumble
Bumble and bumble products, LLC is one of 27 brands owned by Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. Their hair products with editorial quality and unparalleled versatilely, which is very popular globally. This is a school project from M.S Package design program at Pratt Institute. For this project, I made the packaging redesign of a popular hair product from Bumble and Bumble. The new brand and packaging conveys the features of enthusiastic vivacious and young. The sustainable packaging is made up of bioplastic, and the material of the outside package is paper.

ABOUT PRODUCT
Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Shampoo
A featherlight moisturizing shampoo for dry hair.
A luxurious blend of six featherlight oils helps soften, silken, tame, defrizz, detangle, and protect against breakage – without weighing hair down.
I selected an invisible oil shampoo and took a unique perspective and approach to create a sustainable packaging with the distinctive shape and form.The mood board of the design conveys the features of enthusiastic and vivacious.

The packaging is combined with a main square shaped container and some replaceable small bottles with shampoo powders.
The user can fill the water through the main container's hole，and attach the replaceable box to the container. Do not forget to shake the combined bottle to make sure the water and powder perfect mixing before using.
When the shampoo was finished，the customers just need to replace the small bottle which contains the powder instead of throwing away the whole shampoo container.

This multi-tasking, moisturizing shampoo instantly transforms dry, coarse or brittle hair – leaving it soft, silky, and smooth, without the weight. A luxurious blend of six featherlight oils helps soften, silken, tame, defrizz, detangle, and protect against breakage – without weighing hair down.
